I really wish you could see the detail in this photo. You need to in order to really appreciate this orchid. We have an amazing lady slipper orchid in the store right now due to a special client request. It has these great dark purple or almost black petals. It's such a beautiful contrast against its own green leaves.
We had a lady walk into our downtown showroom at 62 Trinity Place and she saw the orchid on the counter and said, "Sexy". She's so right! That really is the perfect word to describe this delicate and rare thing of beauty. I think this orchid is perfect for an art gallery reception desk or high end lingerie store.
