It actually folds! I was roaming the internet and came across this vase called "Hope Forever Blossoming". You can find them on various sites and the price ranges from $13.00 - $26.00 depending on the site. One site says that it can hold up to eight flowers. Bascially it comes folded flat, you just fill it with water and put your flowers in. How crazy is that! It's a perfect gift for someone to keep in the office, you can take it with you while you travel to perk up any hotel room or just to keep on your night stand at home.

Succulents!
We just got a delivery of the cutest succulents. I'm so excited! I love the way they look. There's nothing uniform about them. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes as well as color. The best part of all is that they are easy to take care of.

Late Afternoon Wedding on The Atlantis Yacht
What could be better than a late outside afternoon ceremony followed by a wedding reception and dinner onboard one of the finest yacht's New York's harbor has to offer? One of the wedding trends right now is saying, "I do" and followed by a cruise around the New York City skyline. The beauty of New York is when you can see the cityscape against the night sky along with some of New York's greatest landmarks like The Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberty, the Chrysler Building, The Brooklyn Bridge and The Colgate Clock.
City Blossoms worked with a bride and groom hosting their wedding on The Atlantis this past August. Their color scheme was black and white. We used all white flowers on the arch for the ceremony as well as the centerpieces for their reception.

Singular Sensation Color Combinations
Floral arrangements and centerpieces don't always have to be designed with several types of flowers and colors. Some of the most dramatic displays have been designed using one color in the arrangement. We worked with BCG on one of their events for the holidays where they decided to use flowers and lighting to make a bold statement. I'm loving the solid color combinations and textures in this display.

Dressing up the Bridal Bouquet
Like the dress the bridal bouqet can have its own wow factor. One of the easiest ways to dress up your bridal bouquet is with the wrap. You can use different textured ribbons such as velvet, grossgrain and satin. You can have it wrapped with a simple striped grossgrain in a contrasting color, have your stems wrapped in a corset style design with pearl pins to help keep it in place or use floral tape to keep the stems tight and wrap them in a monogrammed handkerchief. You can add embellishment to the wrap such as crystals, pearl pins, buttons, brooches and more. Think long cascading ribbons in similar shades to the bridesmaid dresses for their bouquets.
This is a great way to personalize the bouquet and add a special touch with something meaningful. Your floral designer will be happy to incorporate these details into the bouqet for you. Just bring them your ribbons and embellishments in advance so they can design these elements into your bridal party flowers.
